Ma ma ma my Missoni

It's amazing how my shopping habits and eating/cooking habits have changed over the past year. Buying AB clothes on Facebook, recipes from Pinterest -----SIDENOTE: I know a lot more of you are on pinterest now, but if you haven't taken the plunge, it's time. I know it's a time suck, but there are some great finds on there, if not just eye candy for your day------ recipes from Facebook, clothes and accessories (and everything else under the sun) on pinterest...WOW...the way things are done in my life is just different.

But nothing gets your blood flowing like a good old "fashion"ed (da dum ching) run on a fashion or retail item. Plug in Missoni for Target here.  (and this cute quilt in the nursery line that I did NOT get - boo.)

So I know that the Missoni for Target line is old news, like 1 week, 1 day old news. I didn't go at 8 a.m. like the vast majority of people who actually got things, so pickings were slim when I showed up to the Target by my house at 9 a.m. after school drop off. I wasn't as phased with the craze for Missoni like I thought I would be and kept it pretty under control. Which was easy b/c there wasn't that much left to choose from. Got these little Target ditties for AB.
and this:

Which we will pair with these plum leggings from Ragsland:

I had these cuties in my cart:
But put them back b/c AB got these even cuter cuties for her birthday:

And my secret Missoni for Target buy - girls department leggings, size XL (and I haven't even lost all my baby weight!).  They are going to be presh under a cute sweater dress with flats.  I think they are even still available on the website!

But what I really wanted was a home item - and let me say that I had no intention of buying $$$$ of missoni from Target.  Because if I was going to spend a lot of money, I'd rather have the real missoni instead of a bunch of target stuff - even though this girl does love a bargain.   I would have settled for a singular throw like this from Target:
But if money grew on trees and my husband gave an ounce of anything to care about what our home looked like, I would love to have one of these rugs (the real deal), courtesy of a friend's amazing home in Dallas.  Check out the rug!  Fabu (I've been watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 too many times) !!!
